Canan Leslie Anderson
Canan Anderson was born in Vicenza, city of Italy.
She is a double citizen of the USA and Turkish Republic.
She studied violin at Istanbul Municipality Conservatory and at Mimar Sinan University State Conservatory. She gave her first concert at Austrian cultural center when she was 6. After completing her education at the conservatory, she started working at Istanbul State Opera and Ballet. In 1993 she moved to Salzburg.
She received advanced violin technique training from professors at Salzburg Mozarteum University.
In Aalen city of Germany, she performed as the chief violinist at ‘Die Kugeln des Sultans’ musical.
She participated in an Italy tour with Mozarteum Orchestra, performed at Sarah Brightman concert with Istanbul State Opera and Ballet, performed as chief violinist at Bombay Philharmonic Orchestra, Salzburg University Orchestra, and Junge Philharmonie Ostwürttemberg while she shared the stage with Barry White at his Istanbul concert.
In 2008 she released her album titled Nuh Tufanı.
She gave concerts with the world renowned French singer Claude Challe and Jethro Tull.
She gave concerts in Belgium, France, Romania, India, Dubai, Italy, Hungary, Germany, Austria, and many other countries.
From 2008 onwards Canan Anderson presents her innovative music understanding in events and concerts both at home and abroad highlighting a synthesis of the East and the West with dancers and the orchestra she established in 2008. She interpreted in her own style many well-known songs such as Selvi Boylum Al Yazmalım, Hasretinle Yandı Gönlüm, Hababam Sınıfı and Ciao Bella.
